Cricket all the way...

Over the years, cricket has lost its charm, its downfall is due, players are motivated by avarice and have ruined the game, etc., etc., etc......
Whatever the people may blah blah blah, but the spirit of cricket never dampens, the fire never extinguishes. Proof of this very thing being the worldcup. During the worldcup, these people who are speaking ill now(including me) will be obsessed by cricket then.

Now, all this dismay is arising because of the recent Indo-Pak series. No outcome of any match. No challenge either for the bowlers or the batsmen. The batsmen enjoying their batting & the bowlers tired and frustrated of bowling.

Well, be it anything, but I am sure that when worldcup series start(though it is months away), the same old enthusiasm will reappear & cricket again will be worshiped..

Waiting eagerly for worldcup 2006 - 2007.
I guess, it is too early, but it is....

MUSIC mania...

Like Laughter, Music also is the best medicine..
Music soothes the soul and rejuvenates the body..
Trance tops the favourites in my list, specially trance by 'Karunesh' is awesome..
When it comes to instrumental, mouth organs are my favourite... Flute is my love..

Recently, had gone for a concert,'Fusion', one of the events of The Mumbai Festival...It was great..
Pandit Habib Khan had come with his students from USA. Though I had not heard of this person, I enjoyed his sitar a lot... Then there was tabla, flute, saxaphone, drums, guitar(since it was fusion).
The sound of flute literally gives me wings...
Looking forward towards more and more concerts...
Mumbai Festival rocks...

One More Day !!!

How much ever be my determination to get up early in the morning and gear up for my daily workout but when the cold from a chilly, sunless morning runs down the spine, all the determination and will is soaked down in the bed and I resume with my Sweetest Dreams till the sun is on my head... On waking up, regret fills up my heart... Oh no, one more morning wasted in the bed... But, there is still lots to see and explore and life moves on, and one more day has passed taking me one day nearer to something great....!!!

Dream '7' Accomplished

One thing to remember while taking part in the 'Dream Run' is that you ought to reach the venue i.e. the starting point early..
Get... Set... Go..... The race has started...and i am still some 50 metres behind the starting point..People banging into each other... And here we have Vinod Khanna cheering, raise your hands, shake your body a bit and move on...
Keep on running and the walking crowd will filter out... Thats what I thought... But, there were so many of them that upto the finishing line they never disappeared..
Except for a few bottlenecks at some of the turns, the track was pretty wide and sufficient to run...
In the end, it is an excellent experience.. The joy of completing the race without stops or walks in between is immense(in 40 min).... HURRAY..... A Proud Mumbai Marathoner...
Eagerly waiting for the next one..

Pak...."Mahi Ve" !!!

Firstly, wishing a very very HAPPy and prosperous new year to all.

Whenever there is any discussion on Pakistan... Be it politics, cricket,be it the earthquake or any damn thing, my blood starts boiling with rage... it always ends in a plethora of curses for the entire country..
They are not able to feed the people in earthquake effected POK(Pakistan Occupied Kashmir), what will they rule that part...???
All but one thing of pakistan is spared from my ill wishes.... the music from pak...
A preety good bunch of pak singers r melodious...
Recently i heard this song "Mahi Ve" by "Faakhir"... Its an excellent song... (Anyone interested in this song, let me know,i'll attach n mail it)
This is not the one from "Kaante" in which Mallika Arora Khan lures guys on her 'thumkas'..
Lets hope things get better with this new year...
