Welcome Rain....But what about the Drain????

Finally, after the scorching heat we bid adieu to the summer with the arrival of monsoon. Well, yesterday the monsoon arrived royally with thunder and lightning.
And it feels so good to 'smell' the rain's arrival.....

So, are we ready for the monsoons this year??
ya, i am. I have my umbrella and windcheater ready.....haha.
Well, are we really ready or like last year it will be a big disaster of disaster management. God only knows or is it that the politicians know????

There were quite a bit of repairs of 'nallas' in the low lying areas.
Lets hope that we don't have one more 26th mayhem.....

Seriously, India is in utter need of a revolution.....Its high time that the politicians be made to stand in a line and shot.....actually!!!!!
It is such a disgrace that in the 21st century they are dividing us on the basis of caste.....

I hope that this year the rains wash their brains and drain away their avarice.
Dreaming of India based on equality.

Indian Democracy Has Gone to the DOGS !!!!

The definition of Democracy is 'supposed' to be "Government 'OF' the People and 'BY' the People for the progress and welfare of the country"
But, in India which is considered as the hallmark of Democracy, this definition has become the biggest Joke.
So, I redefine it as "Government of the politicians for the welfare of their own families by f@#$*#* the nation"
They don't have the slightest thought of the welfare or progress in their minds....They all are desperately driven by avarice.
And what is Media doing here....getting suppressed by these non-patriotic assholes!!!!
Where are the media rights, their freedom of speech and right to information....
We hear that there are so many rallies, protest march, hunger strikes, etc....and nothing published by media.... atleast this is not what we expected from the media....
We don't expect a thing from the politicians....But atleast the media should freely express the 'Truth'....

We are desperately in need of a revolution now....
And I am sure, a Generation will awaken someday....and that day will be doomsday for our dirty politics.....

Au Revoir 'Sterling'....

Today was the last day in the life of 'Sterling' Theatre....
It is one of the oldest theatres in south Bombay. Also, I have seen almost 80% of the movies in my life here.
The modern day multiplexes will never be comparable to the huge old theatres.... They were a class apart.
I'll miss sterling.....

'Metro' is also in the process of remake to 'Metro Adlabs'....
This was a magnificient piece of art....

It is said that one should move with time.... But it is also true that "Old is Gold"
Well, lets hope that the new ones are equally good.

JC Melts in Pune

Was in Pune for almost 10 days.....away from the huff and puff of bombay...
had thought of taking a break from the sweating heat of Bombay(sweating coz lotsa humidity here)....but it so happened that I landed in the burning heat of Pune(freaking 41 degree celsius and the dry climate)....
Anyways, it was a good break off Bombay.

And one day I had a chance of sleeping in the balcony under the bare sky....it was enthralling.
The good old memories rushed in, when twice I was at Vas Ananth's place in chembur and spent the night on his terrace with the Mechies.
And I didn't realise when I fell asleep cherishing the old memories....

Hoping to experience more such nostalgic moments....
